Okay, feeling like a dork here.

How do i enable users to submit articles under the news module? I've turned all permissons on, I just can't seem to find the thing I need to set to "on" for the actual interface. There dosen't seem to be anything under blocks for this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Admin menu -> News -> Permission

you can set user permission to submit articles there

Should I be concerned then, if I'm not seeing news under the admin menu?

I got to the news module by going through the modules screen, and clicking on the icon. I've already given the users submit permissions, but that still dosen't seem to be giving them an interface point to do so.

I installed the news module by unzipping the files localy, and then uploading them into the modules folder on the webserver, and finally clicking on the install icon in xoops. Should I have done something differently here?

Any ideas? I guess the next thing for me to try is to un-install and re-install the module.
