I have not updatedhttp://finnerspage.com in quiet sometime. I would liek to do a fresh install of the XOOPS core. i am installing xoops-2.2.3a-Final. i have my database backed up and am wodering if i can import the download, news, user, and faq section.... or has the sturcture changed to the point where itwill mess up? thanks

The only problem would be (theoretically) the users, there are database changes that would make it impossible for a direct import of users. Faq also may be a problem, if you are using smartfaq, I do not think that module is compatible with 2.2.3.

The latest version to keep full import structure would be 2.0.13.2.

if i manually add all the users and leave the password field blank, can it be set by them on their next log in? or does it have to be set when created? thanks
