Hello,

I would like to replace the page redirect (The page that says thanks for logging...out .... thanks for posting ....) and replace it with a page that is similar to the one that xoops.org uses (I think it's cleaner and neater) I am using the xmbluext1 theme.
I would appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction.

Hi,

This page is using "system_redirect.html" in Administration-->SystemAdmin-->Templates-->System

Before making any changes it is good idea to clone your template set, in preferences set XOOPS to use the new one and do the changes there.

Just going to say the same thing.

You can the redirect page (style etc...) in :

http://yoursite.com/modules/system/templates/system_redirect.html

I usually edit the template files directly (always backing them up first)

After they're updated, update the system module in admin>modules>system and your changes will be live.

For what it's worth, here's the xoops.org div style:

curious though... I thought this code would be in theme/style.css?

Thank you for the prompt reply.

The problem that I have is that when you log in/out add news... post ..the whole theme goes funny when it's redirecting you. and that is what I am trying to get rid off.

This hack may be just what you're looking for :

Speed Up XOOPS

You can bypass the redirect page and show the message in a block on the top left instead.

You can see it in action on GIJOEs site.
