Hello

I am considering starting a Community Type site that will have local content provided by my subscribers, a yellow page area for local adversiters, a weather link, etc. I have tested Big Mediumhttp://www.globalmoxie.com/ However, I have also looked at xoops. Can I accomblish the same with xoops? If so do you know any XOOPS type community sites out there that I could use as a reference?

Thank you.

david

how about www.stylingnoord.nl

Al though it is writen in dutch it can be an reference.
It is an community site which has an database with al local cartuning clubs.
And it provides the latest news from the region, tuning, styling, car and local club news.
Al news is provided by the users.

This site also provides free promotion for local car clubs.
In hope to gain more members for them.
All clubs who are regerstred at stylingnoord.nl will have in the near future the change to buy products for there cars at our sponsors with an 10 to 30% discount.

Awesome. I would be interested in others as well. Does anyone have experience with Big Medium and how does it compare in your opinion?

Thanks
