Downloading... How does it work and how do I do it?

I want to put a download link on my website, but I don't know how to do it. It's probly very obviouse and is staring me in the face... but I need help. Please tell me if there are programs or anything I need to set up downloading links. Thank you for your time.

P.S. I'm not sure if I even have the right idea of how this works...

Theres a few options: RM-download, wf-download, pd-download ... as a wf-team member I obviously preffer our own

Try all of them.. and see what suits you best.
