Hi,

I would like to show a small and simple webcam block in the right bar of my main site, a couple of text lines and the image that is automatically uploaded by another program via ftp.

The block should appear only if the webcam image is uptodate enough (if it's not older than x mins), which means I'm connected.

Is this possible? If so how?

Try the webcam module, it will only appear in the centre column but otherwise will do what you want, pretty much.
