when I Type mysite.com I get index files but if I type it with
html/ on the end I can get to my site

what do I need to change

It sounds like you uploaded the html directory itself into your main web server directory. What you should have done is uploaded *the contents* of the html directory into your main web server directory.

So, delete the html directory on your server, then upload the *contents* of your local html directory to the server.

That what I figured but just wanted to be sure. what About if I just change the name of it will this work. Or should I just delete and start over.

I don't think you can change the name of the html folder. The problem is that it exists, not its name.

I think you're basically hooped if you've run the install already. During the install the directory is written to the mainpage.phop file. I moved my installation and tried to just update the two spots in the mainpage.php file and it didn't work. It blew up on me - I had to start over.

If you don't have a lot of stuff that you care about, I'd delete and start over.
