I'm using news 1.43 to post articles to my site and I'm incorporating images into the main text of the article - I'm using koivi editor as the interface which is great and let's me insert image very easily - can I ask is there a way to make text wrap around an image - as in articles, magazines, newspapers etc using this or any other editors?

At the moment it looks a bit daft cutting the article in half...

I'm not sure about Kovi, but using the default editor included in News, SmartSection, WF-Section, and AMS, you can "wrap" text around an image to either the left or right side of the image. Click here to seen an example.

How-To:
<div style="padding:4px; float:left;">
  <
a href="http://yourtargetlink.com/" title="Your Text Title">
    <
img src="http://yourwebsite.com/images/image.gif" alt="Your Text Title" border="0" />
  a>
div>

Just change the float: value to right if you want the image to wrap text around its left side.

Hope this helps.

so do you manually enter all that code then?

I'm just checking as I can also use wbloggar which has everything tidied automatically so I'll probably use that if you're hand-coding everything each time.

aye wbloggar works great - I was just wondering if any of these web-based ones within admin were able to do it - it seems fairly rudimentary - I'm just surprised they don't - it just means I'll have to update from pcs with it installed rather than from any old pc!

Isn't wblogger the greatest?

The web based admins will do the same, just not as convenient (for me anyway)

Difference is they do it with [ i m g ] type where as wblogger does the html

To align the images [ img align=right ] or left - again same results, different approach. (close the brackets)
