ok can someone put me out my misery and explain how to post an article in the module 'article'?

I can't seem to find a 'post article' option anywhere!

the article module has a funky way of setting permission.

Even after you have turned on the module, you have to go into admin and set the permissions.

Then make sure you have the block permissions set.

yep I've got all the permissions set to all for read, write, submit, publish etc etc. What do you mean by block permissions? To add an article do you not do it through admin anyway? The only block options I can see for article are just for displaying it - eg topics, spotlight, etc..

can no one explain how they post an article? - even just the menu options they use to post articles so I can see if my version is just screwed?

so is this in the admin menu - modules>article>article ? I get no option there...

nothing appears in the main menu or user menu either...

I've set permissions - module>article>permissions and basically set EVERYTHING to all and nothing changes...

This is driving me bonkers - I clearly have the permissions all set as I can edit the demo article and resubmit, and publish that fine, however there just doesn't seem to be a 'new article' option anywhere?!!

Does anyone even know if I'm wasting my time with Article 1.0 - is it any good - given the title 'article' and the lack of any obvious 'article' button makes me think I should dump it and try something with a bit more sense to it - but if someone could tell me exactly where I should be seeing the option to add an article I can at least know that it is just buggy rather than some complicated option that I've missed?!
