Help1

I'm oing nuts! I've downloaded a really nice theme, uploaded it fine and have been playing with the css for the last 4 hrs.

However, I couldn't get the theme.html to change at all. Then I read on the theme creator's site that if this happens you should choose 'yesy' in the Admin > Preferences > General Settings >
Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?

This changed things alright, it's a total mess. All the css colours, etc have vanished. I even tried uploading everything again and it won't go back. my site

HELP!! All I wanted to do was change a few tiny things, like links.

tia

check the folder structure of your theme is similar to that of the default themes. Also, check that your theme.html is calling the stylesheet in its head section

For example

Quote:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="https://xoops.org/xoops.css" />

Hiya,

Thanks for the advice.

I have this:
Quote:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="<{$xoops_url}>/xoops.css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" href="<{$xoops_themecss}>" />

I'm not sure what you mean by folder structure. Do u mean that I should have the same type of folders in this theme as in the default theme?
Ok, I tried that in case that's what you meant. I recreated duplicate folders and copied everything from default into the new theme, except where I already had the files, such as the css. Nothing happened.

ok, I kept messing about with it and I think I got it. Total fluke, lol

Could you confirm for me that folder structure is what I said? That would be great. :)
