Not 100% sure where this question should live, so forgive me if its in the wrong place.

I want the home page to be News.
However I do not want anonymous to see the news items but just a welcome page.
So when people login they are directed to the news module.

This I have done very sucessfully and easily by using the Myhome module.

I also want the forum "recent topics" block to show at the top of the News index page, which it does.

But it also shows on each News item page as well

The option exists in blocks admin to choose "top page" in system, but choosing the top page in a module does not exist.
The only option essentially being "all module pages"
A bit of an all or nothing choice

Any chance of getting round this?

Almost all the modules have an index page so surely this could be made an option in blocks control?

As an aside, after playing with 2.2.3 for a couple of weeks, giving myself time to adjust to a new way of doing things, I do like the new system other than I do find the block control admin a lot less user friendly than the old system.

Cheers
I might not be very clever but I can lift heavy weights!
