Can't go to the Admin>System

I've change the default skin to something like x2k (I don't remeber)

and everytime when I click on the 'System' link of the admin area... It doesn't show the page but 'Private Messaging' menu's drop down content shows up...

System link does not have an effect...

Is there any other way to change my theme back to the default in the scripts (php files)...

if so in which file, where can I change it back....

has any of you had a problem like this...being not able to access system section of the admin panel since I chose one theme...

or has this problem solved before?

If you have phpmyadmin you can edit the theme used directly, I believe the table you want is located in "PREFIX_config". Or through FTP you could change the name of the default theme to the one you are using, and of course change the name of the current (broken) theme to something else first.

thanks for the reply...

please tell me how I can do that... I can use both PhpMyAdmin and FTP...

the current theme was named like x2k ..blah blah

what is the name of default theme?

Through phpmyadmin how can I change it? (I'm new to databases)

or is it written in any config file... (if so which one?)

Problem solved!!

I've renamed the theme folder which was in use...

then reloaded my website.... It looked weird cos with no theme ... and I could access to the admin page from there...

mods can delete this thread, if there's not user with such a problem...
