I am running XOOPS 2.0.13.2 and am having trouble with a few calendar mods (Agenda X and ExtCal), can anyone suggest a calendar that is going to work properly on the above version of Xoops?

Hi Ichi_uk,

Whats not working with ExtCal ?
I have it runnig on a 2.0.13.2 site without any problems at all !!

I can't help you with AgendaX though as I have never used that module before. But you should be able to get ExtCal running on 2.0.13.2 !!

Ok I have reinstalled extcal and this is the problem.

When I go to the modules and click extcal there is no menu... nothing... just a blank white screen, no options like the other modules like administration or preferences.. blank.

Its version 2 of extcal if thats any issue...

Ok plot thickens... in the System Admin the menu for extcal now appears but can only view PREFERENCES... if you try and click INDEX or any other options it just shows a blank screen.

Also if a user tries to click extcal on from the Main Menu, yet again it is just a blank screen

What does the php-debug option in XOOPS say ?
Any clues there ?

I know for a fact that ExtCal 2 works a charm on XOOPS 2.0.13.2 so there must be a difference in the setup.

System admin -> preferences -> general Settings -> debug mode.

The various debug modes will give you different information about wht is going on.

good luck !

Cheers again... ok switch debug on and when going into any section on extcal within admin menu (except preferences) I get the following

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/i/c/ichipromotions_com/modules/extcal/admin/index.php on line 210

Each one is obviously different when going into each section

Well a Fatal-error is the reason you are getting the white pages.

Just guessing here but this module might require safemode to be switched off. These messages can sometimes be caused (i believe) by safemode being on.

You can find the safemode option in your php.ini file or your host can swith it on/off for you.

Might just be worth giving a try....
