adding verbage to registration page

i have an alumni site that i use the alumni module with. after you register you have to go into the alumni module an register again.
is there any way to put some verbage on the registration page (when they finish registering) that will remind them to go to the module (or link)?

well if you cannot figure this out, you can always direct new users to a locked forum where you give them a breakdown of their options and links to the alumni registration.

yeah i can do that but i know there's got to be a way of doing this..... anyone?
