trying to install a module and I'm getting this message:

Table 'xoops_xmail_files' already exists

Unable to install xmail. Error(s):



I also have xmail listed in my Modules list/table 8 times!

Any ideas?

You'll need to use a utility like phpMyAdmin to remove the orphaned tables. Make sure you backup your database first!

This happens from time to time when you uninstall a module and, for whatever reason, all of it's tables are not removed.
