Changing avatar directory?

Hey there,

The other day I installed the profile + photo hack for
Xoops 2.0.13 - the hack works fine, but after installing
it the avatars do not show up in comments anymore. The
problem is that the avatars are in the 'uploads' directory,
but the comments script is referring to 'images/avatars'.
How can I change this to the right directory? I'm lost
here - can't find the correct file to edit.

Hi smoothly.

Welcome to Xoops!
I haven't tried that hack, does it come with a readme or help file? You could start by searching inside the hack files for information on this.

It's not in the readme files unfortunately :) The point
is that the problem seems to lie within the original Xoops
files, as the avatars work fine in the hack, as well as
in my xphpbbi. But that's just a php jungle to me :)

It's strange though, it used to work properly.

If only I could find where the avatar directory is defined :)

Hm, the problem is this value: $comment.poster.avatar
in the system_comments template - it's redirecting to
the wrong directory (images/avatars). Normally I'd say
this value is defined in:

class/xoopscomments.php

But editing that one doesn't do the trick.

Anyone?

Ok, never mind - finally found the solution. Turns out
xPHPBBi messed with my class-files, so I uploaded the
original Xoops-files again and everything is back to normal.

Sometimes it's so simple that you just don't see it :)
