I am currently using the "Euronew" theme on my site, althou it is a great looking theme, i was wondering if it is possible to resize the layout to be a bit wider?

The reason is that some of my content runs a bit wide and i am unable to resize it which causes my blocks to get squeezed and the borders disappear. Also my banner/header comes up a bit short! -- this is more true for Firefox users than IE.

Here take a look: http://www.clanzunited.com

If some one could explain in plain english (i am css/php illiterate) or give me a link I would greatly appreciate it!

Thanks!

I see 2 places to look.

In the theme.html look at the "width: 903px" and change that to 100% or any other number of px you want to try.

Then in the style.css look for the heading "mainContainer" and see if any width numbers are assigned that you might change.

You might also just look for large widths numbers and see what they apply to, I see another "width=850px" lower down in your page, not sure which part it applys to.

Well, all your widths are coded in your theme.html, and not your style.css.

The main Taqble is set to 850px. I can see that your left column is set to 179px, the center column is 470px when rightcolumn is set to show and 690px when no rightcolumn will show. The rightcolumn itself is set at 200px.

NOTE: All your images are set to specific sizes, so changing width values may screw up the overall look due to the images not fitting right. This theme is very difficult to play around with.

You should change the 903px and 850px to match the total width wanted. And change the 470px and 690px to 100% also. This way they should make the center column fit the content. However, like I said higher up, you'll probably need to play with the images also.

Those are the basic numberes to play around with.

Cheers.
