First, welcome to XOOPS!
I would recommend upgrading to 2.0.13.1 instead. There are a lot of module incompatibility issues with 2.2.2. 2.0.13.1 has been around for a while and is very stable.
To upgrade, just go to the
Sourceforge Repository, download the needed upgrade scripts and run them in order.
Example:
2.0.10 => 2.0.12a => 2.0.13 => 2.0.13.1
