Most of you might know about the recent disaster made by Earth Quake in Pakistan. I am working here with an NGO
I need some help here.

We are trying to made a database of the people who are saved. Some children who have lost everything and need help to be found by there relatives.

So to make long story short, I was wondering that with some small changes, "Alumni 2.0" along with "Xoops 2.0.13.1" would do this job. (I will be needing ur help though)

M i working in right direction ??
Secondly, Is there anyone who have some working experience with this module and will be able to help me ?
(especially renaming certain fields and adding few)

Is there any other "Best" alternative?? may be a whole different application. I will prefer XOOPS coz i m now used to it.

What I want is a way where we can Add
1) Name ( Full Name)
2) Pic ( may be 2)
3) There old location ( Home address)
4) Names they can remember ( Relatives)
5) There new place ( New address)
and few other things.

And people using the site can search any of them. I mean
Search By name or Location

I would use XOOPS 2.2.3 rc2 and cbb module to get the job done if I were doing it.

I will not go for XOOPS 2.2.2. Coz it has some known issues and seconly i havnt get the chance to use it. (i think it will be a big change 4 me)

Secondly, Do u think that CBB can do it ?? I mean Arranging one persons data in certain fields providing best search opition ?? (that i have mentioned above)
And lastly, does CBB works well with XOOPS 2.0.13 ???

By the way i havent used CBB either. But will be looking for both of them tomorrow.

Use 2.2.3 for the extended profile features. Use the avatar to get pictures. The picture will be in each forum post. The cbb is well tested and scalable to the task. You could be up and running in under 1 hour. I have been using the lastest 2.2.3 release with no issues!

Although I cant Get howCBB will work for this.
But I will surely have a look for this combination.

Is there anyone else who could guide me and give me any other alternative???
