Hi,

I want to develop a website based on xoops, in which I want to categorize business/shops/etc..

For example:

In my site, people who own a bussiness will come to me, or complete a form in my website, so I can advertise them through my website.

I want to give the visitor of the page, the ability to search for a product [e.g pizza], for a bussiness name, where the business is and so on..

I am going to have packages for the level of the avertisement.[e.g Starter, Basic, Advanced, Gold]...

How can this be done? Is there a module that fits my needs or something close to this..?

Would anything like SmartPartner (www.smartfactory.ca) do for this?

My website will be completely a "Business Guide".

I need something more advanced.

I'm thinking of installing liaise so I can make my own contact forms.

It will have a nice simple theme, and it will be based on 2.2.2 xoops.

Any ideas/?

Could myReviews, fit my needs?

I mean that I will metaphrase it completely, and I will categorize business/shops in the categories through myreviews.

But if i do this, how can i make a new block, dedicated on searching ONLY on myreviews module, BUT WITHOUT the users select it first.[automatic search in myreviews i mean]

Ideas & Suggestions? i really need this...

I tried other CMS's but everyone needs a group of 10 php programmers to design pages...[xoops is #1!]

Your best bet will be to use the xDirectory module. You can find it here: xDirectory. It is an online Yellow Pages. You might need to do some tweaking but it should serve you well. Good Luck!

It has all php and gif files zipped! Am I supposed to upload them as they are, or I should at first unzip the files?
