I'm sorry about asking a question that I'm sure has been asked before, but I can't find anything that quite answers my question...I have found some similar posts, but I'm not really sure they answered my question...
I'm trying to convince my family that a XOOPS website would be a great way to help us all keep in to keep in touch, with many of us now living in different states. I have set up a website allowing us to share pictures, post important events, etc. but one of the things I think would be most useful would be to integrate their email into the website...so that it's not "one more thing" they have to check on a regular basis. However, I can't figure out quite how to do this. Tropical mail comes very close to what I am trying to do, except that it requires each user to put in their username, password, and server to log in to their email, even after logging in to xoops. Not only does this mean they have to log in twice, but it also means that they have to remember the server, which would be complicated for non technically-savvy members of my family. I've come across a hack that appears to leave you logged in to tropical mail (at least i think that's what it says...), but from what i understand, that won't quite work since some members share the same computer...they would always be logged in to the other person's account. Any suggestions?
