How can I modify my main menu without installing/uninstalling Modules?

I want to modify my main menu to my liking without having to install modules. I basically wish to take modules like AMS and put it's submenus (Archive and Submit) and place them as their own items in the main menu instead of branching off "Articles". Where and how can I mod my main menu?

Yes, if you use search and look for more details on Multimenu - this will do what you need.
