Private Mesage column(button) in user profile

after i upgade XOOPS to 2.2.3, the Private Mesage column(button) in user profile disappear. but for newly registered member, the PM colum(button) is there.

how to fix it?

This is a bug in 2.2.3 that is being addressed. The next release (2.2.3RC2) should be out very soon and, if I'm not mistaken, fixes this problem.

It is not something I've been able to reproduce, so if anyone with the 2.2.3 RC2 Snapshot package can confirm or deny it being fixed, I would be very happy.
