Leaving the xoops but keeping the IPB?

I am using the IPB 1.3 with the xoops. The tables are all in the same database. Can I install the IPB elsewhere (migrating to a new host) and have it successfullly run without the xoops?

i believe there is a converter to convert the x-ipb module from koudanshi to the ipb 1.3 standalone board on http://www.bbpixel.com
