First off, I looked at using XOOPS sometime ago and really could not get my head around it.

But, have tried again, and I am happy I have done so.

Redeveloping a site and I am looking at Xoops, offers everything I am after.

But, saying that I am experiencing one or two problems, but the most frustrating is regarding email notifications.

Noticed there have been a couple of other questions relating to this, but I still cannot find an answer.

Using 2.2.2 and CBB 2.2 and I am not able to get the notification on new posts working. Actually notifications dont seem to be working in other areas of the site, so I gather it is linked in some way.

I really hope someone can point me in the right direction here, I would like to get the new site up in the next week, but if I cannot resolve this notification issue I am going to have to look at another CMS.
