newbb problem

I have posted elsewhere but the problem I'm having with newbb is that I cant view the icons for post, new topics etc.

I've just looked at the folder structure and realised these are installaed as languages so I'm wondering if the problem is it ddoesn't know what language (english) and this is causing the glitch.

the guy is nothing short of a freaking legend if you ask me. I made this change all good no problems any more.
