I edited my standard banner using the theme.html file. This great, except it only sometimes works for any resolution. If you change your screen resolution, it sometimes fits, sometimes not. And the table properties are all set at 100%. Any ideas?

If you are using an image for the banner the image size does not change. If you are using a text banner it probably would work like you want. To make it work in all resolutions you would have to use a banner that would fit in the lowest resolution then all resolutions would work.

Okay I get that, but then why does my banner in the Admin section work for all resolutions if it's an image of the same size?

well yes, I changed it to reflect a banner very similar to the one on the front page.

Are you using the same theme?

Take a look at dimension tags for the banner image.
