I've been trying to modify the Edito module so that it displays a different name in the url, ie http://www.mysite.com/modules/mymodulename instead of http://www.mysite.com/modules/edito

I changed the directory name, and modified xoops_version.php and modinfo.php (in the language file) which seemed to work, but now I get a blank page when I try to access the admin section of the module.

Any suggestions as to what i've missed?

PS I've posted this question on the module author's site, but they seem to be unable or unwilling to answer.

Well you could turn on PHP debug to get hints to the problem. But I would also go through this Faq Page on cloning modules to see if there is anything there that could still reference the old name and cause you problems.

Thanks John,
I ended up downloading a trial search and replace tooland using it to change all instances of Edito to what I wanted. Seems to work too :)
