I want to add more advertising in each news story I post. I would like for it to go into the second portion. Is there anyway/module that will allow me to do this?

Sites that use similar type advertising mechanisms that come to mind are http://www.charlotte.com and others.

I would also like to be able to rotate the image/link.

Any help would be much appreciated!

You could edit the news article template and add something like this

Quote:
<{$xoops_banner}>


this will allow you to use the XOOPS banner system.


A better choice would be a standalone ad server. And add the ad zone code to the same template.
