I have XOOPS 2.0.13.1 and news 1.4.

I have made the permission changes through the news module for each group. I checked also in the user groups section, and as expected, I had permissions to view/enter every single thing on my site...


The problem is, that when I post a news story[news 1.4], then when it comes to edit it for some reason, it says that "You are not allowed to enter this module"[or something like that].

What could I possibly have done wrong?

Help me out, in this, because it's really not that useful, not being able to edit the news stories on your site!

IT'S URGENT!

You set in the news preferences page whether authors can edit their own posts. Set it to yes.

Most likely, that is the issue, I think.
