I installed friendfinder v 3.1 and everything works except that when you click on a profile a blank page comes up. Can anybody tell me what I did wrong.

The ever present blank screen of death. I had that a lot and I can't remember the spceifics but the version you are running should work fine.

The only differences are your host configuration or chmod settings. double check all your chmod settings.

or try turning on PHP debug mode in general settings. there will be a lot of variable errors, to start with, fyi

As anyone done a more worldly inclined version this is more USA, states verion.

I actually changed it all in the files, If you want to change it back simpy go thru the file and add countries instead of states.

I had to do it manually since originally it was worldy.

Actually it would be more involved then that since you will have to change a lot. It may take time so good luck

I spent hours upon hours learning and trying to figure out the code

Yeah I noticed the original was a little hazy and some countries were in German, I will do it when I get off my hols.

Yea I keep forgetting to do that. will try, but I feel bad since I truly cannot support it and it has a lot of shoddy code, it works but, you never know.
