How can you make dreamweaver reconize <{$xoops_url}>??

I just got dreamweaver 2004, in an effort to fix all errors in my site.

I have the dreamweaver extension installed, yet I want to be able to check all broken links, within my site.

Is the anyway to make dreamweaver except <{$xoops_url}> as a correct url?

Also any other good extensions people would recommend for php and fixing xoops?
