Hi,

You can try XPress or WordPress ME.
Both of them are based on WordPress.

XPress is very similar to the original WordPress whereas
WordPress ME has some modifications.

I personally used WordPress ME and don't have any problem so far... http://www.niko-verli.com

cheers ,

Hi, nikzcokie.
Thank you for your telling.

I saw your website, and I think WordPress Me is good.
So, I'll confirm the WordPress ME.

Thank you.

PS.
Is WordPress module typical in Xoops's blog module?

Hi again,

There are actually lots of nice blog modules for Xoops.
However, what I like most from WordPress Me is:
1. It has a WYSIWYG editor (only works in IE for WPMe 0.3)
If you are Firefox freak, try to download/upgrade to MordPress ME 0.5 (still in Release Candidate right now) here: http://www.kowa.org/modules/pukiwiki/358.html
WP Me 0.5 is the one I'm currently using.

2. It has a special comment system, so that readers of our blogs can leave comments (name, email, url) without them being members of our site.

3. My wife said it is very easy to use....

cheers,
niko

Yes, I also like weblog...altough it doesn't have WYSIWYG editors...and only has the original XOOPS commenting system.
I actually use both WordPress and WeBlog in my site.
You may check them:
WordPress for my wife: http://www.niko-verli.com
WeBlog for myself: http://niko-verli.com/modules/weblog/index.php?user_id=0&cat_id=4

If you check the personal pack from Mithrandir, he even includes the Popnupblog module. So...you really have lots of choices...that's why I really love XOOPS...

cheers,
niko
