My host provies webmail. (NeoMail, Horde, and SquirrelMail)

I feel bad making my church members sign up for xoops, then have to sign up again fo a seperate email account, with a different username and password.

Is there a way we can integrate the two together?

I think this would be a great module!

(I've used the squirrel mail module, but it did absolutly nothing)

If you are using something like TropicalMail for Xoops... the functionality should be similar to what you get using any web mail front-end. There is no need to create a different email account unless you want one for some reason.

The username and password to get into XOOPS is also only required if you make it required... you can provide anonymous access to any module you wish including a webmail front end.

Hello pvtpyro,
You will need a custom module or reg. script hack for what your asking for, because neither XOOPS or the typical mail client has the administrative capabilities to create e-mail accounts.

Due to the combination of mail clients provided I'm thinking you might have a cPanel hosting account, since those three are typically used with cPanel. Do you have cPanel? I can hack your reg script if so. I will be needing a similar script myself within a few weeks for a project that I am going to be starting so won't be a setback.
