CAS - Central Authentication Support - LDAP

I noticed in the XOOPS 2.2 development roadmap that along with LDAP support, XOOPS would also support CAS, Yale's Central Authentication Service.

If and when will this be implemented?

A search of the forums will reveal a hack that is reported to work. There are always claims of work in progress. If I were you I would not hold my breath in wait.
