Transfering data from one xoops site to another

How to do this, I have a site with XOOPS and newbb2, lots of mesages, users etc, but that domain has expired, so I'm using new one, where I've installed newest XOOPS and phpbb2. I have cpanel/whm access to both sites?

Well actually, to move the data from one site to the other the best thing to do is set up the site as a duplicate, all modules and all that was installed before, then import the old database. Changing modules causes problems that may or may not be overcome. It will depend at the moment what is important for you to recover. Newbb and phpbb are very different table wise and not sure if you would ever get the users and the posts imported there.

Sorry, I'm too crazy :) It's newbb2 on both sites :) Only difference is that the first site has older XOOPS version, than the new one!

Well it would be best, if you are using 2.2.2, to start and import using 2.0.13.1 as there are database changes in XOOPS 2.2 that your old database would not reflect. Then once all data is imported successfully you can upgrade as you wish.
