ok i still didn't give up with the memberslist
in form line from the template "xoopsmembers_searchform" i can see the following

i searched in the index and in class/xoopsform but where the action is going to? wich file receives the post/get vars?

$form = new XoopsThemeForm("", "searchform", "index.php");

It submits to the same file - index.php
