I'm trying to upload image files using Image Manager and I'm getting a "failed uploading file" error. Does anyone have any idea what needs to be fixed?

First off make sure that your uploads folder is chmod 777. Make sure you have at least one category created, and also make sure that the image you are uploading complies with the size restrictions set by the category that was created.

Also don't forget to set the permissions correctly.

I had a similar issue, although my categories are set to upload as BLOBs instead of as files.

It would say it posted but it would not actually post the image. I set the Admin permissions of the category to all and this fixed the issue.
