I want to dispay my default start page module (for example news) on the top of the other blocks (not below them as XOOPS used to do). How am I supposed to tho that ?

think your question is about the order in main menu
solution ->

goto admin
the goto module administration
you will see a text box next to each module which has link on the mainmenu......
arrange it in the ascending order from 1,2,3 ...

so give the new to 1 to make it top of the list

Re: Module order

Seems to be about the actual content.

The module's content placement relative to the blocks is defined in your theme's theme.html file.

As Mithrandir mentioned, you'll have to edit your theme.html

In most cases it just a matter of locating:

<div id="content"><{$xoops_contents}></div>

and placing that where you would like it (for example news) to appear.

Yes, editing theme.html solves my problem. Thanks a lot !!!
However, it would be sensible to have the location of the blocks and modules more customizable through the admin menu.
For example if, after this change in the theme.html i am not able to add custom block through the admin menu and place it one the top of the page - i must hard-code it in the theme.html again.
Have a nice day !
