when are the doc install guides going to be back in place? kind of crazy trying to offer a product with no guide.

FYI...install guides are located in the "docs" folder of XOOPS download.

Download Xoops, unzip, click the folder you unzipped it to and there should be a folder called "docs". In this folder is a file called install.html.

uhm actually there isn't.

it doesn't tell me any information about chmod's etc that I need.

I remember reading this online somwhere before, I guess this was the installation document that was on the docs site.

Can someone tell me when this will be back up online or is there an offline version available somewhere?

Your welcome Dean. Just a suggestion, if you stick to 2.0.13 for now, I think you'll find it easier to get the hang of things. That along with XOOPS for Dummies,gave me a good understanding of the working of Xoops.
