user profiles and picture upload for xoops 2.2 better

hi, great that is now possbible to create indivdual userproifles with 2.2 but where ist the function, besides Avatars, to upload files in their proifiles? So many people don´t have to workout new modules like the jamsessoin, or this stuff for artists etc.
