Hiya

Just installed XOOPS .. wonderful installation (erm once I'd read the instructions properly .. cough cough)

On entering the administration menu and making changes such as preferences..system..general settings

Once I have made the changes and clicked go absolutely nothing changes !!

This applies to all changes I try to make within admin

Please help. What am I doing wrong

PS I think admin here might like to know that it took me three days to register because the system kept saying 'cannot register new user'. It was only after accidently finding a post about http_referer and searching the internet that I discovered how to fix it and finally register here ... A very visible post might help or an explanation with the 'cannot register new user' message

Oh dear, erm,

It seems that the same http_referrer settings were preventing me from updating my site!!

I shall make doubly sure a post about this is very visible on my site as it seems it may prevent people registering
