Installation Help..

Alright, I need some help installing XOOPS..I got the latest version and uploaded it into my FTP server. What do I do now? Help please...

I know this is like super duper newby of me...sorry, I'm new to this portal...last one i used was PowerPortal. :(

In a nut shell,
1. create a database and user to attach to the database.
2. mark the cache, install, templates_c, uploads folders and the mainfile.php as RW.
3. Open the website in a browser and follow the instructions.

There is documentation on this site and in the docs folder.
