No DNS yet, Where's my site?

I have a new installation on a new server with a newly registered domain name which hasn't propogated yet. I've been doing some pre-development, including adding a new theme template, but can't find where to view the site.

Can someone please help?

Not sure what exactly you want to do?

You preconfigured site is already on the server which you cannot reach yet?

If so you could add your domain name and the server ip to the hosts file on your pc (if you run windows 2k/xp its located in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc)

Otherwise if you have a local testinstall using Xsas or xamp or so please be a little more specific what you use and what exactly does not work.

Thanks for replying.
I've already configured my hosts file so that I can connect to my web hosts cPanel, Fantastico, Xoops, etc. While I'm able to do all administrative tasks, I'm not seeing anything in XOOPS that allows me to view my content. If there's no hyperlink in the admin interface, what is the base path to a XOOPS website?

Is you path in mainfile.php using ip or dns name?

I am a little stumbled as to why you can enter in the admin section but not the rest. No real clue about this.
