Notifications on a site I recently developed aren't working. When you click to update a notification option you get the following message:

"Taking you back to where you were... "

and if you're in a forum thread selecting notification options you also get:

"ERROR: Topic not selected!"
"ERROR: Thread not selected!"

See for yourself here.

Any ideas?

Xoops version 2.0.10
NewBB version 2.0.2

Cheers.

Re: Notification errors

I'll guess that you've upgraded to 2.0.10 and have custom templates. You need to update at least the *notification* templates in the System module. If you haven't modified those templates then is easy to delete and regenerate them. otherwise you would then re-apply your mods to them afterward.

If you used the upgrade patch you can check which templates have changed and need to be regenerated.

hope this helps.

Spot on, thanks.

I had recently upgraded to 2.0.10. I wasn't running modified versions of the notification templates, but deleting them and regenerating has fixed the problem.

Cheers
