I have a bit of strange question, and really need to solve it this way (so not by reinstalling the whole XOOPS system).

A hacker went in to the servers of my hosting and deleted a bunge of files from different clients... also: mine...

The MySQL is intact, only there is a problem: 80% of the files from my ftp-server are gone, and the only back-up i had left was from 2 months ago...

Last month i reinstalled XOOPS because of other problems, but the problem is: I installed it with another prefix...

So now i have brought all the missing files back to my server, but the prefix (i think) gives problems....

I only see a blanco page right now.

Is there a way to edit the prefix IN the XOOPS system? (so not in the MySQL database)

Yes,
1. Make your mainfile.php in the XOOPS root writeable
2. Download the mainfile.php
3. Edit the mainfile.php's line which defines XOOPS_DB_PREFIX to reflect the new prefix
4. Re-upload the changed mainfile.php
5. Set the mainfile.php as read-only for the webserver
