Hi guys, first post so Hi to all ;)

I'm running the above config on a small server and got some problems getting XOOPS running on it.

It's just a standard win2k3 install including all the bits to run a site.

After intalling MySQL5.0, adding the DB and a user to control it, I started the XOOPS install, the install worked out perfectly, all green lights till the end.

With finishing the installation, I moved to the path on the localhost where the forum should be located (localhost/my_own_forum_dir/html) and it only shows a blank screen.

After some carefull studying I noticed that XOOPS installation gave a green light when adding the database, but however the DB isn't been created in the MySQL dir, permissions to do that has been fully granted.

Got any clue where I've gone wrong?

MySQL 5.0 is a beta product, XOOPS has some issues with MySQL 4.1 but probably does not support 5.0 at all yet. XOOPS is fully compatible with MySQL 4.0x.
