Here is the deal.
We had a programmer design a site for us using Xoops. The XOOPS BB didn't work for us so we went to Invision power board.

We didn't link the log in and left the XOOPS site to where noone had to log in there.

We always used the http://www.mysite.com/user.php to log in as admin and make changes and add content.

Well my partner is screwing around with the site and sees where you can turn the XOOPS BB on. So he does. Now we cannot log into the site. Whenever we try to open the user.php file it redirects us to the Invision power board "lost password" page.

Can someone tell me where this redirect is coming from. Is there a back door to the admin page?

Thanks for the reply.
That only takes me to the IPB admin page. It also tells me I do not have access.

My problem is that I cannot get into the XOOPS admin.
I try user.php and it redirects to the wrong page.

Right now I am locked out of the XOOPS side of the site.
I can get into the IPB control panel but nothing for the XOOPS side.

Is there a way for me to set access to my admin.php page in the SQL so I do not have to log into XOOPS to see it?

If so I could then get into the admin page and turn off the BB.

If you have cpanel access to the hosting site look at the redirects there to see if you can change it.
Urging XOOPS to be the Best It Can Be.

When all else fails...

You might need to do a backup of your site DB (in cpanel) then perform a complete rebuild of your XOOPS site, from the beginning.

If you decide you need to do this, be certain to use ftp to copy all of your files to a safe location before doing a rebuild. I recommend making certain unused XOOPS modules are removed from your "new site build", even if they are "core" modules. Building a skinny XOOPS installation that contains only those modules you need prevents accidents like that which befell you from happening.
