@panicgrc: You can use an external program such as
CSDiffand get the clean version of XOOPS that you use. Then run the diff program, comparing the clean version to the one you have on your webserver. You will get a long list of files with "new", "same", "modified" and "deleted" status (probably most "same" and "modified") then "all" you have to do is look through the diffs for each of the modified files and note down the changes.
Then re-apply the hacks to the new version of XOOPS.
