I am wondering if someone could help me, or perhaps guide me in the right direction..

I was visiting http://www.7dana.com and I love the way they have their link structure. I don't particularly like having the modules folder displayed in the address bar, like http://www.websitename.com/module/weirdmodulename/index.php. And I have tried to 'rename' modules, so that they look more presentable, but i often get errors, and i find it difficult to do...

On their website, all the links seem to be simplified and nice looking.. that's how I would like to have my site.

For example, the link for their FAQ section looks like this:

http://www.7dana.com/index.php?faq

This must actually link to http://www.7dana.com/modules/faq/

right?

How can I have that same linking system, where it links to individual modules / pages, the same way that they have done with the index.php?pagename ... is there a module of this? or is it something very simple someone can explain to me?

Thanks, and I hope you can help me!

Elyssa

Not actually. 7dana is not using XOOPS for their Web site, so their link structure is entirely different.

To help in your quest do a search for short URL. It will allow to use the rewrite feature for your urls. I personally do not use it.
